drug task force
mission statement:
In an effort to curb the growing epidemic of drug use and drug deaths, it shall be the mission of the Hendricks County Drug Task Force (HCDTF) to investigate, arrest, dismantle and successfully prosecute narcotics trafficking, organizations involved in the manufacturing, transportation, distribution, selling of illegal drugs in or being transported through Hendricks County. To that end it is necessary to establish written guidelines for initiation, investigating, concluding and reporting all investigations conducted by the HCDTF.
objectives:
1. Identify and arrest individuals or members of organizations that are dealing illicit drugs, especially fentanyl, which results in the deaths of Hendricks County residents.

2. Identify and arrest individuals or members of organizations that are selling, delivering, or storing illegal drugs and/or weapons in Hendricks County.
​
3. Identify property and assets acquired with the proceeds from the sale, delivery, or storage, of illegal drugs and/or weapons and submit these items for forfeiture.

4. Collect, analyze, and share criminal intelligence information regarding the illegal distribution of drugs or associated criminal activity both in county and out of county, and share the gathered intelligence to the appropriate law enforcement authority for follow-up investigation on their part.
