Meet the Prosecutor

Loren P. Delp has served as the elected Prosecuting Attorney for the 55th Judicial Circuit since 2018, following over a decade of service as a Deputy Prosecutor. First elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, he has led the office through legal and procedural challenges, including those presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, always with a focus on efficiency, fairness, and public safety.

Mr. Delp holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science, history, and economics from Indiana Wesleyan University, and earned his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University in 2004. Originally from Santa Clarita, California, he moved to Indiana before college and has made Hendricks County his home with his wife and four children.
