getting a no contact or protective order:
If you are the victim of a crime that is currently under investigation or prosecution, the Prosecutor’s Office may be able to request a No Contact Order from the court as part of the criminal case. These orders are typically issued to protect victims and, in some cases, key witnesses.
If no charges have been filed, or if you are not the victim in a criminal case, you may still be able to seek protection by filing a Protective Order. Protective Orders are civil in nature and can be requested through the Hendricks County Clerk’s Office at the Courthouse in Danville or found through the links below.
These documents can be filed with the Clerk's Office alongside court costs.​
